Recycling of end-of-life tyres.
In the name of circular economy.

Through a partnership with the Cobat Tyre consortium, we guarantee the proper disposal and recycling of all end-of-life tyres collected by the workshops within our networks distributed extensively throughout Italy.

Thanks to an agreement with Cobat Tyre, a consortium company dedicated to the collection and recycling of end-of-life tyres, the workshop networks of our Italian companies Franco Gomme, Fintyre, Pneus Market and LGG have direct access to tyre collection and end-of-life management services.

In addition to ensuring the proper disposal and recycling procedures required by Ministerial Decree 82 of 2011, Cobat Tyre offers exclusive services with extensive added value to tyre specialists and retailers including:

•   a dedicated web platform for the autonomous management of collection orders;

•  total traceability of end-of-life tyres at each stage of disposal and recycling;

•  training, communication and awareness-raising activities dedicated to those operating within the sector.

This initiative stems from the Group’s choosing to take on responsibility towards contributing to the sustainable development of the entire tyre distribution sector, aimed at the complete realisation of a Circular Economy model involving total reuse of end-of-life tyres.

This choice is not only to safeguard the environment but also contributes to the development of the country’s economic system, whilst reducing waste, producing new raw materials along with generating investment and employment.

End-of-life tyres are a valuable resource both as a high-efficiency fuel for energy production and as a raw material for the creation of new products for:

SPORT
multi-purpose sports paving, football fields and playgrounds

ROADWAYS
silent and long-lasting modified asphalt, cycle paths, urban furnishing for road safety

DESIGN AND OBJECTS
also with innovative products created by combining recycled rubber and thermoplastic materials
